Friday Egg: Like Holding Hands

Scarf design batiked eggshell, Asian kimono-inspired design

It's a miracle! A Friday Egg! I was so excited about this egg that I really wanted to share it. It's been a while, hasn't it?  This lovely spring goose egg has traditional geometry with and Asian-inspired floral design. I want to wear this egg!

The name of the egg is "Like Holding Hands" because if the way the two scarves or rugs wrap around the egg, interlocking like two hands.

I hope you enjoy it!

Just lovely.

How do you get the dappled effect in the blue background?

Do you paint in some of the colors to get the different levels of color?

Still learning....
Thanks
Kay

AND it is so nice to have you back. You have been missed.

Kay - that dappled effect is the eggshell asserting itself! All colors are dyed, with no painting or shading.
